Cybernetik’s IBC Discharge Station with Isolator Box is an advanced, automated solution designed for the safe and efficient unloading of materials from Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs) in a controlled environment. This system ensures operator safety and product integrity, particularly when handling sensitive or hazardous materials.
The operation of the IBC discharge station begins with an IBC being loaded onto the discharge station via a forklift, indicated by a dome lamp. The IBC is secured in place by a safety stopper and conveyed forward by a roller conveyor, which adjusts speed based on sensor inputs. Once positioned, the lifter and bellow lower to seal the unit. Argon purging reduces oxygen levels below 5%, creating an inert atmosphere. The docking unit then rises, and the tote discharge valve advances, clamps, and opens to initiate material discharge. If the flow halts, a knocker assembly activates to ensure complete unloading. The Glove Box allows operators to handle materials safely within the sealed environment, with input and output doors facilitating the transfer of trays.
