Cybernetik’s IBC and Drum Transfer System enables clean, safe, and fully controlled material transfer between storage units while maintaining a contamination-free environment. Designed for high-precision operations, the system accommodates both intermediate bulk containers (IBCs) and drums, providing seamless horizontal and vertical conveying. Engineered for dust-free material handling, the IBC transfer system integrates vibratory discharge and argon purging to maintain product integrity and operator safety. The drum transfer system ensures minimal manual intervention while delivering maximum process consistency across a range of materials.
The operation of the IBC and drum transfer system begins with an IBC being positioned on the roller conveyor. A reference system accurately aligns and locks the receiving container in place. The seal docking before argon purging helps to reduce oxygen levels, creating a controlled atmosphere before material is transferred. Meanwhile, the feeder container is conveyed to the vertical lifting station, where it is securely locked with a safety mechanism that prevents accidental drops. Purge lines are connected directly to the feeder container to continue inert atmosphere retention. Next, the container docks with the receiver, and its outlet valve is automatically actuated for dust-free transfer. A vibratory table ensures the complete discharge of materials, avoiding residual buildup.
