Cybernetik’s Clean in Place System facilitates thorough, in-place and automated cleaning and sanitization of equipment with minimal water usage. Equipment cleaning maintains product and plant hygiene. Components of the CIP system comply with the required safety and cleanliness standards. The self-sanitization feature enables the system to maintain its own hygiene.

Typical Clean in Place systems are four tank setups that sequentially circulate alkaline, acid, and sanitizer solutions for equipment cleaning. CIP systems also use a hot water rinse at the very beginning, end, and between the cleansing solution rinses. Such automated cleaning rapidly removes accumulated proteins, fats, minerals, and microbes. Cybernetik’s three tank CIP system avoids the acid rinse, and has three main and three buffer tanks to minimize water use.

Cybernetik Solution

  • Hygiene: Systematic circulation of sanitizing solutions, required standard compliance, isolation valves avoid cross contamination, food-grade built.
  • Safety: Lockout Tagout (LOTO) arrangement prevents accidental CIP system activation, options for ASME-grade heat exchangers and FDA-compliant valves.
  • Efficiency: Thermostatic air vent improves steam heating, positioner valves for temperature control, buffer tanks minimize water usage, reuse of caustic solution.
  • Productivity: Operational continuity via self-sanitization.
  • Standards: FDA, ASME, as-required.
