Cybernetik’s Biomass Drying, Grinding & Storage System is an automation solution for biomass size and moisture control. Designed for food-grade applications, the biomass processing system offers nutrient retention, dust free operation, and minimal loss of biomass while improving energy efficiency.

Operations of the biomass processing system start with a series of belt conveyors, hoppers, a flight belt conveyor, doffers, and a trough belt conveyor directing the sorted biomass to the dryer. The seven layered, conveyorized dryer with controllable speed and temperature maintains a constant internal thermal gradient to reduce moisture to the required level. A recovery system avoids loss of precious biomass from dryer exhaust. Thereafter, the grinder mills it down to the required fine size without nutrient loss. A pneumatic conveyor system transfers the ground material to a storage silo. An open mouth bag filler fed from the silo enables end of the line packaging for this biomass processing system.
