Bag Slitting and Material Processing

Cybernetik’s Bag Slitter and Material Processing System is a robust and safe solution for automatic bag slitting, material unloading, and processing operations. The slitting system is designed for hygienic and efficient material handling. Explosion-resistant ATEX built makes the slitting system compatible with hazardous material.

The operation of the automatic bag slitting system begins with bags being loaded onto a roller conveyor. Bag guides align each bag centrally, while a pusher assembly diverts them onto a parallel conveyor for slitting. A drum roller ensures correct orientation parallel to the slitting system, allowing optimal contact with the slitting blade for maximum material discharge. As the bags are slit open, material is unloaded with minimal dust generation with an integrated dust collector. Emptied bags are compacted by a bag compactor, ensuring uninterrupted system operation. The unloaded material is then loaded into an IBC which is conveyed downstream to a bag tipping station for further material processing. Material from multiple such IBCs and bag tipping stations are mixed at a blender. The blended material is then stored in an IBC.
